Meet the Waterline.
Most apps show you what you have. Fettle shows you what's safe — a single line that forecasts your next 30 days and warns you before a tight week arrives, not after.
Dip toward the line and it flags the risk window early, so a quiet week never turns into a nasty surprise.

How it works
The money app that gets
student life.
1
Knows what's really yours
Loan drops, shift pay, the odd bit of freelance — Fettle pulls it together and shows what's actually safe to spend this month.
2
Stops the end-of-term panic
It spreads what you've got across the weeks ahead and flags a tight patch early — so you're never blindsided before payday or the next loan drop.

Answers "can I come out?"
Ask Fettle before you commit to the trip, the ticket, the round. It answers with your real numbers, in plain English.

Questions
The honest answers.
Is my money safe with Fettle?
Yes. Fettle connects to your bank on a read-only basis through Open Banking, which you authorise with your bank's own secure login. We can see your transactions to give you insights, but we can never move, hold, or touch your money. Fettle is not a bank.
Is the £5 really refundable?
Completely. The £5 founding deposit is refundable at any time, for any reason — just email us and we return it in full. If you stay on after launch, the £5 comes off your first year instead. Fair for a student budget.
Does it work with a student loan and part-time work?
That's exactly what it's built for. Fettle pulls together your loan drops, shift pay and any freelance bits, then shows what's actually safe to spend across the weeks ahead — so a big loan drop doesn't disappear by week three.
Is Fettle financial advice?
No. Fettle gives you general guidance and education to help you understand your own money — it's not regulated financial advice. For advice about your specific situation, speak to a qualified adviser.
Do I need to be a student to join?
Nope — Fettle is for anyone with irregular income. But the student waitlist gets features and pricing tuned for student life. If you're not a student, the main waitlist is open too.
When does Fettle launch?
We're building it now and opening a founding waitlist first. Founding members get early access and locked-in founding pricing — and we'll tell everyone on the list the moment the beta is ready.
